About the estate
The Monte do Álamo estate is located in the heart of the Alentejo in São Miguel de Machede, situated on a plain between Évora and Évora Monte. Run by the Noronha Mendes de Almeida family, the agricultural property spans one thousand hectares and has been active for more than thirty years. Viticulture was established here in 2001 as a family business driven by the desire to produce regional wines. Benefiting from favorable conditions for planting vineyards, the winery aims to reach new dimensions.
