About the estate

The MANOIR DE MERCEY, Berger-Rive estate is located in Mercey in Burgundy and looks back on a multi-generational family history established by the Berger family during the twentieth century. Today, fourth-generation winemaker Paul Berger manages 26 hectares of vineyards spread across the Côte de Beaune and the Côte Chalonnaise. The portfolio includes wines from denominations such as AOC Mercurey, AOC Rully, and AOC Bourgogne Pinot Noir. The vineyards are cultivated according to sustainable agricultural practices and the estate holds the Haute Valeur Environnementale certification. Vinification takes place at the winery, where the harvest is processed in the estate's cellars and matured in vaulted cellars.
