About the estate

The Malgiacca - vignaioli in Lucchesia estate located in Gragnano, Tuscany, is run by three winegrowers who have been restoring historic and partially abandoned vineyards for nearly ten years. The plots are situated on the hills northeast of Lucca and are characterized by traditional mixed grape varieties that reflect a high level of biodiversity. The winery operates according to biodynamic principles, completely avoiding the use of pesticides and chemical molecules. In the cellar, vinification relies on spontaneous fermentations, hand destemming, foot treading, and maturation in amphorae, concrete, stainless steel, and neutral wood.
