About the estate
The Madrevite estate is situated in Castiglione del Lago within the Colli del Trasimeno denomination in Umbria and has been shaped across generations of family farming. In 2003, Nicola Chiucchiurlotto initiated the restoration of the family property and replanted portions of the historic vineyards. The total land area spans sixty hectares, which includes eleven hectares dedicated to viticulture. Cultivated grape varieties comprise Gamay del Trasimeno, Grechetto, and Sangiovese. Winemaking takes place in a renovated cellar utilizing concrete vats, large wooden casks, and French oak barriques.
