About the estate
The Les Hauts de Talmont estate was founded in 2001 on the initiative of Michel Guillard on the Falaise du Caillaud in Talmont-sur-Gironde. Covering approximately 11.5 hectares of vineyards, the winegrowers manage the property according to the principles of biodynamics. The clay-limestone soils and the oceanic climate provide optimal conditions for cultivating the Colombard and Merlot grape varieties. Production relies on manual harvesting and traditional vinification, with maturation taking place in both stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels.
