About the estate
The Braastad Cognac house was founded in 1875 on the banks of the River Charente and looks back on a long family tradition. Today, the estate is run in the sixth generation and manages 40 hectares of vineyards in the Grande Champagne and Fins Bois crus. The family oversees the property traditionally from the vine to the glass, producing both cognac and Pineau des Charentes. The maison is located in Jarnac.
