The Le Corti Dei Farfensi estate was founded in 1998 in the Marche region by agronomist and international wine consultant Marco Cavalieri and his wife Antonella. The name and philosophy of the winery draw upon the historical heritage of the Farfese monks, who shaped the region's viticulture starting from the late ninth century. The vineyards are cultivated using strictly organic methods, with a strong focus on soil minerality and vineyard exposure. For the grape varieties, the estate relies on traditional historic cultivars of the area such as Sangiovese, Montepulciano, and Pecorino.
