About the estate
The Casaleta estate is run in its third generation by a family that expanded its passion into winemaking in the nineteen-nineties. The six-hectare vineyard, characterized by old vines, is situated on clay-sandy soils in the hills of Castiglioni di Arcevia. The focus of production is on the native Verdicchio variety, complemented by red grapes such as Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Lacrima di Morro d’Alba, Merlot, and Cabernet. The historic vines, preserved through selection, are cultivated entirely by hand with the support of oenologist Giancarlo Soverchia.
The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Verdicchio.
