About the estate
The Cantina Villa Pigna estate was founded in 1968 by Costantino Rozzi, who acquired the first vineyards. In 1970, a winery completely surrounded by vines was built, featuring a naturally climatized cellar room for wine aging. Management remained within the family across generations and is currently run by the descendants, including son Giorgio. After a long history as a general producer, the winery has specialized in the Rosso Piceno Superiore DOC denomination. The portfolio includes both traditional and internationally oriented blends made from grape varieties such as Montepulciano, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
