Le Chai de Sainte Marie

About the estate

The Le Chai de Sainte Marie estate is located in Bormes-les-Mimosas in Provence and traces its origins back to the eighteenth century. In 2007, the Duburcq family acquired the property, which currently encompasses forty hectares of vineyards. Farmed biodynamically on schist soils, the vineyards cultivate more than twelve grape varieties to produce organic and vegan wines. Harvesting is carried out during the early morning hours to preserve the natural coolness of the summer nights. Vinification takes place across four distinct cellars utilizing temperature-controlled stainless steel, concrete vats, and oak barrels.
