About the estate

The Domaine des Montillets winery is run as a family business in the Burgundy and Beaujolais region and has been active since 1890. The cultivated vineyards include renowned sites such as Morgon Côte du Py as well as the parcel of Les Montillets, where the focus lies on the traditional Gamay grape variety. Among the particularities of the portfolio is a rare un grafted vine planted in 1962 within the plots. The working method on the estate relies on a respectful approach to nature and traditional winemaking techniques far removed from modern standards. The selection includes regional specialties alongside the classic red wines of the appellation.
