The La Mirandola estate in Castellina in Chianti was established in 2000 by Lorenzo Scala, following a family tradition that began in the 1970s when his grandfather purchased the original farmhouse and small vineyard. Managed as a family-run business to this day, the winery relies on hands-on vineyard management from pruning to harvest by the owner himself. The portfolio focuses on regional classics under the Chianti Classico DOCG and Toscana IGT designations. Winemaking centers on indigenous grape varieties such as Sangiovese and Colorino, combined with careful cellar techniques including maturation in barriques, tonneaux, and traditional casks.
