About the estate

The I VIGNERI di Salvo Foti estate continues the tradition of the Maestranza dei Vigneri, a winemakers' association founded in Catania in 1435, and currently operates on Mount Etna and in eastern Sicily. Vineyard cultivation is carried out entirely by hand using natural products, in part with the help of mules. Winemaking avoids biotechnologies, with racking and bottling following the lunar phases. The portfolio includes wines such as the Etna Rosso Vinupetra, the white wine Aurora, and the rosé Vinudilice.
