About the estate
The Hübscher-Wein estate cultivates a vineyard area of 4.35 hectares in the northernmost vineyard of Switzerland in Altdorf, Schaffhausen. Founded in 1972, the winery has since grown numerous grape varieties in an ecological terraced vineyard layout. The portfolio includes traditional varieties such as Riesling and Pinot Noir, alongside fungus-resistant varieties like Regent and Muscaris. The clay and limestone soils promote the aromatic compounds of the grapes, which are managed according to ecological principles. Vinification is carried out by partner wineries, while a portion of the wines is marketed directly.
