The traditional Höcklistein estate by Lake Zurich features one of the finest wine locations in the region, where wine has been cultivated for centuries. The roots of the vines grow on heavily calcareous conglomerate soils, which impart a noticeable minerality to the wines. The portfolio includes traditional varieties such as Räuschling as well as international grapes like Sauvignon Blanc. In the vineyards, great importance is placed on meticulous canopy management and determining the optimal harvest time. The estate's wines are available under the AOC St. Gallen denomination.
