About the estate
Founded in 1970, the Weingut am Steinig Tisch estate in Thal is run as a family business in its third generation. Across 7.5 hectares of vineyards managed under the FAIR’N GREEN sustainability standard, the estate cultivates steep slopes featuring sparse, clayey soils and Rorschach sandstone. The portfolio includes Sauvignon Blanc, Kerner, Pinot noir, red wine cuvées, and dessert wines. The estate's wines are distributed through Swiss gastronomy and retail partners. The winery focuses on traditional self-pressing, combining handcrafted winemaking with nature-oriented cultivation.
