The Herdade Monte do Vau estate is located in the Alentejo region of Portugal, near the Guadiana River and close to the Guadiana Valley Natural Park. The origins of the property stem from an old country house, with the vineyard established in 2007 and the estate reconstructed in 2012. Following its core concept, the winery combines environmental sustainability and ecological balance with a simple elegance. The portfolio features white and red wines produced under the Alentejano IG and Alentejo DOC designations.
