About the estate
The Hebenstreit estate located in Pernersdorf in the Weinviertel region is a family-run winery currently managed in the second and third generations. Covering twelve hectares of vineyards, the business cultivates typical varieties of the area as well as red and white wines. The product range includes four white and five red grape varieties, Frizzante, grape juice, and distillates. The winery is organically certified and relies on manual labor in the vineyard along with careful yield reduction and canopy management. Harvesting is now mostly carried out using a picking cart to bring the grapes quickly and cleanly into the cellar.
