About the estate
The Hamm winery is a family-run organic wine estate in the Rheingau region, cultivating seven hectares of vineyards planted with ninety percent Riesling and ten percent Pinot Noir. Managed in the fourth generation, the traditional estate has been certified organic since 1990. Under the direction of daughter Aurelia, who returned to the family business in 2015, the wines are matured in the historic vaulted cellar. The portfolio ranges from dry to delicately fruity and noble sweet styles, including estate wines from stainless steel tanks, old vines fermented in wood, and spontaneously fermented wines.
The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Noir.
