About the estate

Located in Niederschleinz in the Weinviertel region, the Michael Gruber estate is managed in the sixth generation by Michael Gruber, who took over the family business from his father in 2020. Wines focusing on origin and typicity are produced on primary rock soils with loam and loess layers as well as in the Fahndorf vineyards. The main variety Grüner Veltliner accounts for the largest share and is vinified in various styles, including Weinviertel DAC. The portfolio also includes grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Riesling, Roter Veltliner, Zweigelt, and Merlot. The production methods combine tradition, hygiene, and modern technology.
