About the estate

The GIACOSA CARLO Az. Agr. di Giacosa Maria Grazia estate traces its origins back to the 1950s in Barbaresco and is currently run by the fourth generation of the family. Across five hectares of owned vineyards situated within the municipality of Barbaresco, the estate cultivates native grape varieties in prominent sites such as Montefico, Asili, and Ovello. The history of the winery is closely linked to the evolution of Barbaresco and the transition from cooperative supply to independent bottling under its own label. Alongside traditional vineyard management, the family has invested in modernizing the winemaking facilities and opening a dedicated tasting room for visitors.
