About the estate

The Ghiomo Az.Agr estate was established in the early nineteenth century and is located in Guarene between the Langa and Roero areas. The winery takes its name from a traditional tool used for working wooden barrels. Vineyard cultivation follows traditional methods on soils rich in gray marl, clay and sand, sharing characteristics with the terroir of La Morra. The winery makes the personal choice to cultivate exclusively native grape varieties such as Nebbiolo, Barbera and Arneis.
