About the estate
The Fuocomuorto estate is located in Ercolano on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius at an altitude of 350 to 400 meters above sea level. The winery cultivates three hectares of land featuring terraced vineyards with volcanic soils. Traditional local grape varieties are grown to produce wines under denominations such as Vesuvio DOC and Campania IGT. Vinification is carried out using estate-grown grapes, while the maturation of the wine takes place in a historic natural cave excavated in 1780 beneath a volcanic rock slab.
