About the estate

The Tenuta Ponte estate is located in Luogosano in the heart of Irpinia, managing over 25 hectares of vineyards across the municipalities of Luogosano, Taurasi, and Lapio. The winery takes its name from a bridge built by the Romans during the early imperial age, commonly known as the devil's bridge. The vineyards sit on steep hills with predominantly clay-limestone and volcanic soils characterized by a temperate Mediterranean climate. The cultivation focuses on classic regional grape varieties such as Greco, Fiano, and Aglianico to produce wines under various controlled designations. The estate combines traditional territory-focused winemaking with modern technological methods.
