About the estate
The Casa Setaro estate is located in Trecase in Campania on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius and is run by the family across generations. The estate comprises twelve hectares of vineyards situated at altitudes between 200 and 350 meters above sea level on heterogeneous volcanic soils. The core of the winery consists of ungrafted vines and historical native grape varieties such as Caprettone, Piedirosso, Falanghina, and Aglianico. Cultivation is carried out sustainably with manual harvesting, and the grapes are selectively picked and vinified separately. The resulting wines reflect the unique terroir of the region.

Un blend nato da un progetto di zonazione e salvaguardia della biodiversità, attraverso tre vitigni campani, che insistono in quest’area da inizio Novecento, per mano di contadini vesuviani. Color giallo intenso dorato, al naso emerge una complessità olfattiva che spazia dai fiori gialli, erbe selvatiche e basalto.
