About the estate
The traditional Franz Keller winery is rooted in the Kaiserstuhl region and cultivates classified single vineyards on weathered volcanic soils with loess deposits. Since 2014, the estate has been a member of the Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates. The grape variety portfolio includes Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir, among others. The wines are produced according to the VDP classification model, ranging from estate wines to Grand Crus. Aging takes place predominantly in traditional wooden barrels.
