About the estate

The Fink und Kotzian OG winery in the Weinviertel region was founded in 2013 and cultivates around nine hectares of vineyards. The main sites in Gauderndorf and on the Königsberg, alongside further parcels in Straning and on the Stoitzenberg, feature primary rock, marine sediments, and shell limestone soils. The grape variety portfolio includes Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay, Riesling, various Pinot varieties, and rarer grapes such as Chenin Blanc. Vinification takes place in a historic cellar excavated deep into a hill, with a strong focus on abstaining from insecticides and herbicides in the vineyard and employing both traditional and experimental methods in the cellar. The wines are distributed via direct sales by appointment as well as through selected specialist retailers and wine shops.
