About the estate

The FERRERO FEDERICA Az.Agr. estate in Clavesana, Piedmont, spans a total area of 35 hectares, with 21 hectares dedicated to vineyards and 10 hectares to hazelnut cultivation. The vineyards are located on hills across the municipalities of Mango, Trezzo Tinella, Neviglie, and Levice at an average altitude of 450 meters above sea level. The winery was founded by the great-grandfather Giacomo in the late 19th century in Mango, where he began producing wine. After a temporary interruption in winemaking during the last century, the fourth generation reunited the family lands and resumed estate bottling in 2002. The cultivated grape varieties include Moscato, Dolcetto, Chardonnay, and Nebbiolo.
