About the estate
The DUCROUX Thibaut estate is located in Villié-Morgon in the Beaujolais region and is operated as a family business with Thibault Ducroux managing the vineyards and Dimitri Ducroux handling sales. The winery cultivates 10.5 hectares of vineyards featuring old vines of the Gamay noir à jus blanc variety trained in the gobelet system. Viticulture follows organic farming standards or is in conversion. Harvesting is done manually, followed by vinification through carbonic maceration using indigenous yeasts, aging in concrete vats or old barrels, and omitting filtration and fining. A total of 40,000 bottles are produced annually across the Beaujolais, Morgon, and Fleurie appellations and are exported to about a dozen countries worldwide.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Gamay.
