About the estate
The Don Bernandino estate manages a vineyard area of 15 hectares within the Ribeira Sacra DO denomination. The family winemaking tradition was sustained by Bernardino Rodríguez, who maintained the vineyards in the Amandi area during the 1950s. In the 1990s, his son Emilio Rodríguez took over management and modernized the winery, housed in an old stone building, with new technology in 1999. The focus centers on the Mencía grape variety, yielding wines characterized by fruit aromas and distinct profile. With an annual production of around 60,000 bottles, the winery represents artisanal and heritage-driven wine production.
