About the estate
The Pazo de la Cuesta S.L.U. estate in the Ribeira Sacra region looks back on a centuries-old history documented since 1416 and preserved across fourteen generations. The vineyards extend on slopes towards the Sil River on sandy loam soils, benefiting from a unique microclimate and cool nighttime temperatures. The average age of the vines is 40 years, complemented by a small plot of pre-phylloxera vines that are over 150 years old. Divided into eleven distinct parcels, the winery cultivates indigenous grape varieties such as Godello, Treixadura, Albariño, Mencía, and Brancellao to produce white and red wines.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Godello and Mencía.

La Pastoriza 2023 es un vino muy limpio y brillante, de color amarillo pálido, con ribetes verdosos y matices acerados. En nariz se muestra muy fragante, intenso y complejo. Es un vino goloso, con una textura cremosa y envolvente.
