About the estate
The Domaine Val de Caire estate cultivates seventeen hectares of vineyards in Rognes and Lambesc within the Provence region. Situated at altitudes between two hundred and fifty and three hundred and fifty meters, the vineyards grow on limestone scree soils containing marine fossils within the Coteaux d'Aix en Provence appellation. The estate has been farmed organically since two thousand and eleven, utilizing natural cover crops and minimal treatments. The grape varieties include white varieties such as Rolle and Grenache blanc alongside red varieties like Grenache and Syrah. Vinification takes place in modern stainless steel vats as well as in traditional barrels and amphorae.
