About the estate

The Domaine Mochel Frédéric et Fils estate is a historic winery with a centuries-old tradition based in the wine-growing village of Traenheim in Alsace, where the family has been settled since the 17th century. In 2001, Guillaume took over the management of the estate from his father Frédéric as the fourteenth generation of winemakers. The winery farms distinctive terroirs, including the renowned Grand Cru Altenberg de Bergbieten, and operates according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture. A dedicated team works alongside the winemaker to handle all operations from vineyard management and cellar work to customer service.
