About the estate

Located in the Pyrenean foothills in Viella, the Domaine Laougué estate is run as a family business across generations and cultivates 25 hectares of vineyards. The soils on the south-facing slopes primarily consist of clay-limestone with rolled pebbles as well as gravel and clay-silt substrates. The regional climate, shaped by oceanic influences with mild winters, warm summers, and balanced precipitation, promotes grape maturation. The grape variety portfolio includes Tannat, Cabernet Franc, Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng, and Petit Courbu, among others. These yield wines under the Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh appellations, with a strong focus on environmental protection and biodiversity during cultivation.

The eno directory lists 9 wines, mostly from Tannat and Petit Manseng.
