About the estate

The Domaine la Roche Moreau estate is located in St Aubin de Luigne in the Loire Valley and spans 28 hectares of vineyards. The family-run business is managed across five generations and produces wines under several designations including AOC Anjou, AOC Anjou Villages, AOC Cabernet d'Anjou, AOC Chaume, AOC Coteaux du Layon, and AOC Coteaux du Layon 1er Cru Chaume. Viticulture is conducted using reasoned methods with natural grass cover and holds the High Environmental Value certification. Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand, utilizing successive selective pickings for specific sweet wine styles. Following vinification in oak casks, the wines are aged in historical cellar vaults carved into rock formations to ensure consistent maturation conditions.

The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc.
