About the estate
The family-run Domaine la Grand Vigne estate is situated in the heart of the Var department in Provence and spans 15 hectares of vineyards. The winery produces organic wine within the Coteaux-Varois-en-Provence appellation. Established at the end of the 19th century, the property is currently managed in the fifth generation by Roland Mistre, following Henri, Louis and Raymond, alongside his sons Mathieu and Romain. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 240 metres near the Via Aurelia and feature Triassic clay-limestone soils. The Mediterranean climate, influenced by surrounding hills, presents cold winters, dry summers and significant diurnal temperature variations.
