Chateau Margui Vineyards

About the estate

The Chateau Margui Vineyards estate is located in the heart of green Provence in Châteauvert, where Gallo-Romans already cultivated the hills irrigated by springs and the Argens river thousands of years ago. Across 21 hectares of vineyards with clay-limestone soils planted on hillsides, the main grape varieties grown are Syrah, Grenache Noir, Cinsault, Cabernet-Sauvignon, and Rolle. The wines are characterized by a late yet balanced grape maturity that delivers a harmonious composition while maintaining a fine freshness. Harvesting is done entirely by hand, and the grapes are transported in small crates and kept in a cold room for whites and rosés before being meticulously pressed. The cellar, renovated in 2018, is organized on three levels to allow a juice flow entirely by gravity, avoiding any pumping.
