About the estate

The Château des Chaberts estate is located in Garéoult in the heart of the Coteaux Varois en Provence appellation at the foot of the Loube mountain. The history of agricultural activity on this historic property dates back to Gallo-Roman times. Out of a total estate of 250 hectares, the winery cultivates 30 hectares of vineyards situated on south-facing, arid, and stony slopes with clay-limestone soils. Since 2017, the estate has converted to organic farming in order to limit its environmental impact. Through meticulous work in the plots and the cellar, traditional methods are applied to craft distinctive wines that combine aromatic intensity, structure, and roundness.
