About the estate
The Domaine la Borie estate in Prayssac looks back on a long family history spanning multiple generations. Today, Jacques and his daughter Elodie manage 25 hectares of vineyards situated on the terraces of the Lot Valley. The diverse soils consisting of clay-siliceous material, gravel, and scree cones provide ideal conditions for the grape varieties Malbec, Merlot, Tannat, and Chenin. Through a terroir-specific vinification process, the estate produces distinctive red and white wines under the AOC Cahors and Côtes du Lot IGP denominations.
