About the estate
The Domaine Jean-Paul Balland estate cultivates 24 hectares of vineyards in the Sancerre appellation, comprising 22 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc and 2 hectares of Pinot Noir. The vineyards are located on the slopes of Bué and are characterized by Caillotes and Terres Blanches soils. Following a conversion process that began in 2020, all wines have been officially certified organic since the 2023 vintage. The estate is managed by the daughters of the family, continuing a long winemaking tradition. Harvesting is conducted manually or by machine depending on the wine type.
The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
