About the estate
The Domaine Jean Chotard estate is located in the village of Crézancy-en-Sancerre and is managed today by the youngest generation of the family. Over two centuries, the property evolved from initial mixed farming into a dedicated winegrowing estate, currently cultivating 17 hectares of vineyards. Across three distinct terroirs named Les Caillottes, Kimmeridgian marls, and Les Griottes, the estate exclusively grows Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir for the AOC Sancerre production. The winery has operated under organic agriculture certification since 2019, utilizing manual harvesting and sorting processes for its wines.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
