About the estate
The Domaine Givaudin estate is a traditional family-run operation spanning ten hectares of vineyards in Irancy, now spanning five generations and led by Franck Givaudin since 1998. The production focuses on red and rosé wines from Irancy, crafted primarily from Pinot Noir as well as the Palotte cuvée containing a proportion of César. Winemaking practices involve manual harvesting, one hundred percent destemming, fermentation lasting twelve to fifteen days, and aging in stainless steel vats and barrels for twelve to eighteen months. The wines are bottled following the aging process and marketed directly from the property.
