About the estate

Located in Touraine within the Loire Valley, the Domaine Francois et Julien Pinon estate was founded in 1786 and has been shaped by eight generations of winemakers. Spanning 15 hectares of vineyards situated on the slopes of the Cousse Valley, the estate exclusively cultivates the Chenin Blanc grape variety. The vineyard soils consist of clay, black flint, and limestone. Operating under certified organic agriculture since 2003, the winery produces all its wines through manual harvesting and spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts.
