About the estate
The Domaine Farge estate looks back on a family history that began in 1920 when Henri Farge acquired the initial vineyards. Today, the winery cultivates twenty hectares of vines in the northern Rhône Valley, spread across steep, terraced plots in the Saint-Joseph, Cornas, Saint-Péray, and Condrieu appellations. Since the plots are predominantly steep and rugged, all vineyard work is carried out exclusively by hand from pruning to harvesting. The estate is currently in conversion to organic farming and follows a low-intervention winemaking philosophy in the cellar with limited use of inputs. Thomas Farge continues the family tradition following in the footsteps of his ancestors.
