About the estate

The Domaine du Pas de l'Escalette estate is located in the Languedoc region at the northern edge of the Terrasses du Larzac, covering around twenty hectares of vineyards. The vines are situated at an altitude of 350 meters on limestone scree soils and are divided across some fifty terraces. The estate exclusively cultivates southern grape varieties, focusing on Grenache, Carignan, Syrah, and Cinsault for reds, alongside old vines of Carignan Blanc and Terret Bourret for whites. The vineyards are farmed organically and certified biodynamic with Biodyvin. The combination of altitude, deep drainage soils, and cool valley climate yields wines defined by freshness and fruity tension.
