About the estate
Located in the Loire Valley region, the Domaine du Colombier estate has been family-owned since 1974 and spans 45 hectares of vineyards on predominantly clay-limestone soils. The vineyards are mainly planted with Cabernet franc and Cabernet sauvignon, alongside grolleau, gamay, chenin, chardonnay, and sauvignon. The estate is farmed using reasoned methods and holds the HVE certification. Vinification takes place on-site, utilizing a combination of modern equipment and traditional oak barrels. The produced cuvées aim to express the local terroir across the region appellations.
