About the estate
The Domaine des Remparts estate is situated in the heart of Gascony in southwest France and has been managed in family tradition by Silas Marcellin since 2011. The winery spans 46 hectares of vineyards featuring limestone, clay, and sandy soils under a temperate oceanic climate. A total of 14 grape varieties are cultivated across the parcels to produce typical white and rosé wines as well as Floc de Gascogne, alongside red wines which are relatively rare for the region. In addition, the estate traditionally distills Armagnac using its own alambic still and produces Agen prunes. Farming is conducted with environmental protection guidelines, holding the Haute Valeur Environnementale certification.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The estate sells to retail.
