About the estate
The family-run Domaine des Deux Vallées estate manages a vineyard area of approximately forty hectares situated on the heights of Saint-Aubin-de-Luigné in the Loire Valley. Philippe and René Socheleau produce wines reflecting the quality of the terroirs of Saint-Aubin-de-Luigné, Rochefort-sur-Loire, Chaume, and Savennières while respecting nature and the environment. The portfolio includes wines with the appellations AOC Anjou, AOC Anjou Villages, AOC Cabernet d'Anjou, AOC Chaume, and AOC Coteaux du Layon. Since the 2023 harvest, a Savennières has been aged in concrete eggs, allowing continuous movement and lees contact due to the oval shape and limestone interaction.
