About the estate
The Domaine Derey Freres estate manages twenty hectares of vineyards situated between Dijon and Gevrey-Chambertin in Burgundy. The family's winemaking tradition dates back to 1650, while the modern estate was established in the 1950s by founding brothers Albert and Maurice. Today, the sixth generation runs the winery through the three brothers Maxime, Romain and Pierre-Marie. The portfolio includes various appellations such as AOC Bourgogne, AOC Fixin and AOC Gevrey-Chambertin. The vinification process involves careful and slow maceration for the reds as well as moderate pressing for the whites.
