About the estate
The Domaine de Maltaverne estate is located in Tracy-sur-Loire within the AOC Pouilly-Fumé appellation and has been farmed for three generations. Gilles Maudry has managed the property as owner since 1984, succeeding his father Antoine, and was joined by his son Matthieu in 2015. Winemaking takes place in an authentic 19th-century farmhouse. Production focuses on Sauvignon Blanc, which grows mainly on white limestone soils and is used for the traditional creation of several Pouilly-Fumé cuvées.
